Combine all ingredients into a mixing glass and stir with ice to chill. Strain into a chilled martini glass and garnish with a Luxardo cherry.

Making the vanilla infused rye whiskey was very easy. Cut a vanilla bean lengthwise and add into a bottle of rye whiskey. For a 750 ml bottle I kept the vanilla bean in the bottle for about 4 days. After the rye picked up a sufficient amount of the vanilla flavor, I poured the rye into a clean container, then strained it through some cheese cloth to strain out the little seeds.
