It's a potent, boozy drink that looks great. It makes you feel like you're drinking a real cocktail.

I took this picture under the ambient light in the room, but then thought it might look more exciting to put some light directly on it. So I threw a flashlight to the side and it really made the purple pop.

Ingredients

1 1/2 oz Gin
1/2 oz Maraschino liqueur
1/2 oz Lemon juice
1/4 oz Simple syrup
1/4 oz Créme de violette liqueur
Garnish: Luxardo cherry

Instructions

Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with the cherry.
